Every Thursday night bagpipers and other Celitc musicians converge on The Brewery Tap in the northern part of downtown Houston. Since I was a part of the Texas Celtic music scene for more than five years, it's really a homecoming to drop in and see familiar faces. This night was particularly good because some of my old friends from high school were there as well. It's nice when worlds collide.

From the technical standpoint, I'm not too happy with the way the color came out on these. My flash really washed out a lot of the shots, and the scan from negative to CD doesn't do any of the exposure correction that a photographic print has. Still, I think there are a few pictures with interesting composition, so it wasn't a complete waste.
