Michael Manring at an in-store appearance at Cassell's Music. It was an informal performance with Q&A and an appreciative audience.

Michael was my largest musical influence during the time I played bass with Ceili's Muse. I studied with him at the National Guitar Summer Workshop in 1993, and mainained his official website for a number of years after that.

The store was lit by overhead florescent lights and there was some translucent colored plastic hanging from the ceiling at various points to break it up. I shot ISO 200 film with my 85mm f/1.4 lens.
